Lookat what I can Do!

I thought this was a funny picture of Scotty tiling his sisters shower. We spent last month remodeling her house and we are now working on doing a few things to our house. So we are remodeling fools!! On our house we are working on repainting, building a closet and pantry, and building a mantle for our fireplace. It has been a lot of work but it is fun. Broadie has done a good job at helping with cleaning up the yard and cleaning in the house. He is a good helper. Hopefully we can get some more pictures soon, we have been just too busy to take them. I have 14 days to move out of my apartment and we are now officially feeling the stresssssss!!! AHHHHH and its the end of the semester .... soooo needless to say we both feel a little crazy right now. But I think we can do it and we are going to love our new house. We are all really excited!!

Good friends ....

So this is kind of a shout out to a real good friend of mine..... he posted this and it reminded me of some good times we used to have so I had to post it too. Matt and I would text each other during classes in college (Anatomy for me and Biology for him). We would text warm fuzzy thoughts and things back and forth to keep entertained during really boring lectures. I wish we would have written them all down because there were some good ones. . . . It helped us get through those tough classes.... his post was just a reminder of all the truely good friends I have had along the way. They have all been such a blessing to me, helped me through good and bad times :) It just made me think of how much I love their friendship, it really means the world to me. I don't think I would be who I am today without the love and support of good friends and family. In remembrance of that great time, here is a list of warm fuzzy thoughts and feelings to share with you..... I hope you enjoy them as much as I do :)

Eventful Day

So, its been a real eventful day!! Today, Scott and I can say we are the proud owners of a new house. We are really excited about it. I don't have any pictures of it yet but I will post some soon. Broadie is really excited, there is a big playground fort thing for him to play on in the back yard. It will be great fun this summer. He is also excited about the little garden area in the back yard. He has plans for it he said :). I think it will be a great home for us.

This is a cute picture of Broadie and his 2 friends, Chris and B.J., they are having a sleep over tonight. Yeah, its been lots of fun!! They have the giggles big time :)

Take me out to the BALL GAME!!

Well, Broadie started T-Ball ~ Only its not T-Ball its coach pitch so its even better!! He had his first game tonight and here are some pictures and a little video of him hitting the ball. It was great fun. I really loved watching the kids run around, it had to have been the cutest thing I have ever seen!! This is going to be great!! Broadie waiting at first base

Brunch at the Red Lion on Easter

My parents came up for Easter Weekend and we had lots of fun. Although the weather wasn't vacation weather we still had a good time. We went to Lava Hot Springs and we walked around all of the little shops there. We saw the coolest thing, it was a wood carved statue with multiple sea turtles coming out of it .... it was amazing .... amazingly $1500 ... so when I win the lottery its mine (HAHA). After Lava we went and ate dinner at Elmers, yummy. Then we rented movies and went home to hang out. I thought it was really nice to have some real adult time. I don't get that very often (beyond Scott) so it was nice to have someone to talk. We colored eggs that night and of course on Easter morning the Easter Bunny hid lots of treasures for Broadie to find. It was fun. He was spoiled rotten by the silly rabbit. Later that afternoon we went to the Red Lion and had Easter brunch. It was DELICIOUS and there was a TON of food. All in all it was a great weekend.

Broadie has done it again! Easter weekend we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Elmers, with my parents (they make the best pancakes, german pancakes, and french toast in town :) ) They were having an Easter coloring contest so of course Broadie had to enter in it. Well, Sunday morning we received a phone call that he WON!!! He is just too cool. He won a way cool Easter basket that had a lot of fun summer toys, water toys, and other fun treats. He was pretty excited!

The girl that gave Broadie the basket wasn't too excited to have her picture taken but she was a trooper for us.
