Sniffle, sniffle, what can I say, my little bear is getting all grown up on me! He is super excited to be back to school though!

This last weekend, Scott and I took the kids to Bear World in Rexburg. It was an absolute blast and as you will see from the pic's the bears are fond of us as well :-) Enjoy, because we sure enjoyed this place! This is somewhere we could definitely go back to!

Titantic Exhibit

The kids and I (Broadie, Janessa, and Taylor) ventured out to the Titanic Exhibit a week ago and had an absolute blast. It bumed me out that we couldn't take pictures in the exhibit because they had some really cool things. The kids favorite was the REAL iceburg they had that they could touch! It was SUPER COLD :-) I loved the model boat that they had, it had every small detail (I would love to own a model of the Titanic)

The boarding passes they gave you when you go through the exhibit are pretty cool as well. On the back of the boarding pass they give you the name of a person whom at the end of the exhibit you get to find out if they lived or died, but it also tells you all about that person (name, age, sailing from, accompanied by, class, traveling to, and reason for travel, also it told facts about that passenger). It was so fun to learn about people that were actually on the boat!

Below are some pictures of the kids, there was also a small Idaho Museum where we could take some pictures.

Gardening Fun

Well, Scotty and I built a garden for Broadie this summer, it is smaller (8x8 I think) he loves plants, and we thought this would be an excellent project as well as an excellent learning tool and chore. Broadie got to pick out what he wanted to plant in the garden, he picked cherry tomtoes, regular tomatoes, strawberries, string beans, squash, peas, beets, carrots, and radishes. Its amazing because at the beginning of the summer, he didn't like beets and radishes and now he suddenly loves them ... amazing huh! :-) I love it! What a great kid! But here is a picture of the vegggies of his labor! Unfortunately a lot of our plants were damaged really bad by some horrible storms we had (we had a week of horrible rain, hail, and wind) so our plants are still trying to recouperate. But we think the plants will pull though and we will be ale to get some more fun stuff. It has been Broadie's job to water and weed the garden, and today he came in with lots of fun veggies for dinner. He said this is what we are having for dinner and he wants salmon to accompany it :-)! What a good eater!
