Cuz Baby Its Cold Outside

Welcome to the heat wave!! I just thought I would let you all know what we are going though up here today. It is noon and it is -8!! It is soooooo cold!! It really hurts to be outside. This morning when I woke up, snow had accumulated on the INSIDE of my door!! Gotta love condensation and really cold weather I guess, I haven't seen that before!! Its a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky, but it is miserably cold!! I think I really hate it!! We don't even have any snow! Good old Idaho weather! I would much rather have the snow so that we can go sledding, make snowmen, and build igloos!! This just isn't too much fun! Matt, make room cuz I am comming your way, and I am bringing my bathing suit ~ I need some warm sunshine!!

OH SCHOOL

Well, what can I say, here we go again, school started this week for Scott and I. Can you tell I am really not excited ... actually I think it is down right depressing ..... and on top of it I have some Killer classes ~ all I have to say is stinking BIOCHEMISTRY here I come .... AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I think I am actually scared :)

Scotty on the other hand is probaby SUPER Excited ~ its his last semester of undergraduate classes!! HORRAY FOR SCOTT!!! Cheer him on ~ wish him luck!! Only a couple more months before he becomes a REAL NERD (that is code for Engineer)! Or as Ray Mullen puts it a Real Boy! Haha, Scotty you know I love you!! I am so proud of him and how hard he works, and on top of it he is so supportive of me and what I do, I just hope I can be as supportive as he is, he is really a great guy, I am one lucky woman :) He is also taking a couple of his graduate classes this semester so he can get a jump start on his masters, he is now wanting to do a double masters and get a masters in Mechanical as well as Civil engineering .... what a nerd huh! That is what I love about him, he is soooo SMRT!! :)

Good Luck to us I guess in the start of yet another semester!!!

Good Friends, Good Food, and Fun

Scott, Broadie, and I went over to Jen Mullen's for fun. We watched the football game, cooked dinner, and played games. John was in town so it was nice to see him and get to hang out ... here are some pictures of our bestest friends ...

The top one is of Kendra, we discovered a new love, the game phase 10 and I think she was loosing and not liking it :) haha ....

You can see Broadies favorite part, playing nintendo, and the dogs, Mani and Tag were playing tug a war with a sock ... it was really funny to watch.

Broads wanted me to post this. Grandpa Steve took him to shoot his gun after christmas and this is how he did ~ looks like he did a great job and they sure had a lot of fun doing it. I think Broads is a great shot!!!

Night Sledding

Scott and I took the 2 kidos sledding last night. It was a blast. It was night time and it had just started snowing. It was really a good night to go, there wasn't a lot of snow on there ground but there was enough, and it wasn't way too cold. We tried out our new metal sled and it goes super fast ..... it got dented though (our big bums is all I have to say about that) hahaha ..... and Broads loved his sled too, he was having so much fun, he would just run up the hill and sled down and run back up the hill. Janessa on the other hand had a harder time getting back up the hill, she kept saying Scotty I can't, Scotty I can't ... and she was panting the whole way. It was really cute. There was one time where I was walking up the hill with here and she kept saying she couldn't make it, she then said, "Jessie Stop" so I stopped and she jumped on the sled I was hauling up the hill and said "OK now Jessie you can," she made me pull her the rest of the way up the hill.... it was pretty funny, the whole way she was saying "you can Jessie, you can." Scotts sis came with us but she didn't sled down the hill, I think it was lack of having snow pants, so hopefully she gets some by next time because we are definitly going to go again.

Vegas Trip

After Christmas, Scott and I went to Vegas with some friends. It was a blast!! We stayed at the Luxor with John and Dani Mullen and we met up with Bill and Teal Levelle. Here is a group picture of all of us .... We did so many fun things, we went to museum's, we went to see the bodies exhibit, and we saw show's. John took us to see 2 shows, STOMP and KA ... They were amazing, I think everyone should go see them!!!!

This is a picture of us after the STOMP Show, it was sooo cool, they make music with things like broom sticks, metal garbage cans, boxes, sand, tubes, clapping, and keys..... it was a lot of fun and this is one of the performers.

This is the BIGGEST Slot machine I have ever seen!!! We won $20 on it, haha, it was fun!!
