Fall Fun

We have been having a lot of fun preparing for Halloween, and fall in general. My parents came to visit us this last weekend and it was good to visit with them. We went out to lunch, went to the new Costco here, and went to the hotpots in Lava, which was soooo nice and relaxing! Broadie had 4 teeth pulled out today, all on the top (not so much fun for him, and he has been in quite a bit of pain), but it had to be done, his teeth are too crowded, and next week he will have to have 2 pulled on the bottom. So he is a real toothless Joe, so here are some cute pics, he is just hoping the tooth fairy comes.

It looks like he hardly has any teeth :-( Poor Guy!

We have had a ton of leaves in our backyard, so I decided it would be fun to rake them all up and put them in some black plastic bags and make the bags look like pumpkins, so now we have a black pumpkin patch in our yard. The sacks turned out pretty cool! Broadie thinks we have the coolest decorations in the neighborhood!

We had fun carving pumpkins sunday night .... they look so good! I think we are professionals!
The headless horseman pumpkin is Scotty's

The painted one is Jenny's (being prego, she can't stand the smell and goo of pumpkins so she decided to not carve it and just paint it)
The Scary monster face is Broadies, and yes, this year he did it all by himself!

The bat is Janessa's (she had a little help from Lori) but it turned out great!

And the trick or treat one is mine! (The detail was such a pain, but the end result was well worth it!)

We had a great time carving pumpkins!

Broadie and Odie playing in the leaves in our backyard as we were raking them up. It was funny, Odie would jump in the pile and tunnel though it, he had a blast. We were all laughing pretty hard at the little pup!

What a handsome lil fella!
Even more handsome is my Joe Boo (Broadie)

LiFe Is GoOd

Life has been pretty good lately and I just haven't had time to keep this thing updated. So here it goes in one big shot!

Broadie and I were able to go to the cabin with my family a few weeks ago, it was beautiful up there, we had a lot of fun going on walks, feeding the fish, riding in the canoe, catching water-skeeters, and just being lazy (something I don't do very often). It was a nice break!

I think its calling my name!!

Broadie had a blast catching water-skeeters

This is the front yard

This is everyone just hanging out

This is a Caterpillar, Hallie and Broadie caught one (each) they were really pretty, and it was awesome because we put them in plastic cups and we were able to watch them make a cocoon, that isn't something you get to see every day!

Beginning stages ....

Almost done!

This is a GIGANTIC spider we found in our backyard!! EEEEWWWW!! Its just NASTY! The invasion has begun, I just know it!

Broadies birthday party at the Bowling Lanes, the kido's had a blast!

This is Tony

Broadie and Ethan

What a cute kido

The group
I sadly dropped my camera just as the night was starting and broke it, so I didn't get to take any more pictures at his party, I was really bumbed! But I think everyone had a good time.

Chase wanting out of yard Jail (he is such a cutie) - This was taken at Grandma Jan's and Chase was just playing in the backyard.

OK this is a HORRIBLE picture, but I did it, I DIED MY HAIR BROWN!! Dark brown, its kinda hard to tell in the picture so I will work on getting a better one but I love my new hair color, its fun and it was a good change. (I took the pic with my camera phone and I was tired at the same time, bad combo I think but everyone wanted a pic so here ya go).
Well that is the update for now, this weekend is supposed to be nice so I think we are going to do some yard work and play a little baseball!

My Bear! Happy Birthday

Well what can I say, Happy Birthday Bear, I love you so much!! So 8 years ago, my world stopped turing for just a moment, then it began to rotate a completly different direction, and so much faster, the amazing things that motherhood can do! After 14 hours, this little bear came into my world at 7:47 am (I think that means things fly!), he was a tiny little bundle, just 7 lbs and 18 inches long. Now look, it has been 8 years! Where has time gone? I must say, I have absolutely loved the past 8 years and can't wait for each day to come, my world doesn't function without you Broads! (But I still think MOMS should get a pushing present each year too, kids shouldn't be the only ones getting presents!) So I hope you have the best 8th birthday ever and since we are going bowling I hope you get a strike! :-)
