Goin On's
Well, I have great news! I have been selected to get interviewed for PA (Physician Assistant) school!! HORRAY! I have been waiting for soooo long to get this far, it seems weird that I am finally here! But holy cow am I stressed out! This year there have been over 600 applicants and there are only 30 seats! Can you say OH CRAP, cuz I can! But at least I haven't been weeded out yet, so that is good news, and I am heading on to the last step of the application process, the BIGGY Interview. I need all the help I can get here, so if you feel like praying and/or fasting for me I would sure appreciate it! If you know me well, you know I want this soooo incredibly bad, but my odds are rough!
Scott and I went shopping for a suit because you have to dress business professional, well, come to find out women here in Pocatello don't wear suits unless they are over a size 10 because we shopped EVERYWHERE and the smallest size we could find was a 10 .... uuummmmm problem because I am a 2 .... so THANKFULLY I have wonderful parents close to some really good shopping places (I miss Utah for its shopping) and they were able to go find me a suit and will send it up to me (boy am I greatful!) ....
so I should be getting a phone call on Monday to let me know the day and time I will be interviewing. I am pretty nervous, I love talking but not when I am under pressure ... I just don't do good talking under pressure!! I'll talk your ear off if the pressure cooker is taken off but when its on I clam up! Scott said he would practice some interview questions with me so hopefully that will help.... The interview includes at least 30 minutes with the board of them asking me lots of questions and then there is 30 minutes where they give you a medical topic and you have to write an essay on it ... this just doesn't sound like too much fun to me :-)
I have a funny too, the other day I was driving to pick Broadie up from school, well I got pulled over, only I couldn't find out why .... I went though the checklist, I wasn't speeding, I used my turn signals, I stopped at the light, completly ... ok, so what was I doing now. I rolled down my window when the officer came up to my car, he poked his head in my window and here is how the conversation went:
Officer: "Are you feeling ok?" ok weird question
me: "Yes, I am feeling fine, why?"
O: " I just wanted to check and make sure you were feeling all right"
M: "I am feeling just fine, why? Was I driving weird, swerving or something?"
O: "NO I just wanted to make sure you were feeling ok"
M: OK, not to be rude but that is a really strange reason to pull someone on the interstate over"
O: "I was just checking, you can go now"
Me: "OK"
And off I went ... now tell me that isn't the weirdest thing you have ever heard!

Our Honeymoon in Cancun
We had an amazing time in Cancun, it just seemed to go by so fast, the beaches were beautiful, we had the most amazing view from our room, and the weather was perfect, but I think the best part was getting to share all of it with my best friend. Enjoy the pictures :-)
Being married means having your best frined to share what life brings, knowing you're loved night and day, dreaming together of wonderful things, and letting your hearts lead the way!!

New Year's was a lot of fun this year, we had a Theme Party at our house and everyone had to dress up like someone from there favorite movie, it was fun to see what everyone came as, they also had to bring something to eat that their characters would eat, it was fun, I have never had a rotisseryasauraus :-) Also, the pic at the end of the slide show is something Broadie built, it was a house, with a sink, bed, ... basically fully furnished, I just thought it was awesome so I had to put it in there, I was a little bumbed because I missed Broadie for the party, he was at Grandma Pats. Hope everyone has a great year!! I know we will!!
