Play Time

This was a funny Video of Broadie and Odies Play Time. Odie would lead broadie around and he would groul if Broadie didn't go fast enough, Broads was laughing so hard he could barly walk... Anyways hope you enjoy our play time!! It was a lot of fun for us .....

Merry Christmas

Odie has learned sit and lay down (only he can't do either for a long period of time) he is getting there ... but oh boy is he one spoiled pup!!
Odie got his first puppy hair cut on Tuesday... Doesn't he look sooo handsome! haha, the groomers at petco said he was a naughty puppy and said he was freaking out (but with the looks of one of the girls I would have freaked out with them cutting my hair too). His hair is nice and short and out of his eyes, he looks so cute. I think I liked it just a little longer but this is nice becuase now his hair doesn't poke his eyeball out :)

Scott, Broadie and I got some Christmas picturs done. Aren't they cute!! HAHA

Me and My lil' buddy

(Broadie may have tutted on Scott in this picture, it was really funny!!)

I just love this guy!! He is amazing:)

Broadie is sooo handsome in this picture! I just love this picture of him!!

I must say I am the luckies woman. I have 2 great boys that I absolutely love, and one heck of a cute dog. Who could ask for more?? Not me, ok well I am still asking to be done with college but I guess that takes time too, I guess I am just ready to grow up and live my dream .... haha..... I'm never growing up. We have a fun Christmas planned and I am pretty excited, it will be filled with too much driving and completely packed full of fun!! We are heading down to Salt Lake tomarrow for my work Christmas party, Broadie gets to stay at Grandma Jan's & Grandpa Steve's for the rest of the week, he is stoked to get to spend that much time with them. Scott and I have to head back on Saturday so we can prepare for finals (pray for us:) ) Then I will be coming back to Salt Lake on Tuesday to spend the rest of the week until Christmas gets here ... yeah!! Scott will be coming back down to Salt Lake the friday before Christmas when he finally finishes his finals. Then on Christmas day, later in the after noon we are going to drive back to Idaho to spend some time with Scotts family. Towel Wars and Odie Playing Fetch

I hate this game, but it was sooo funny to watch Scott and his sis Jen play it. They were snapping each other with towels (and they were getting each other really good) they both walked away with welts and bruises .... lots of fun!!!! We laughed!!

I loved this video too, my dog is nuts!!! One is favorite games is fetch, and this is a video of him running back, he will go fetch what ever you thow and he gets so excited on the way back that he just runs as fast as he can, it is really funny, you would think a ghost was chasing him.

Tag!! Yes Stacy I did it!!

My cutest cuz Stacy tagged me a while back and I just haven't done it for her. So now I am going to post the tag but, Stacy, I don't have 6 blogger friends to tag back, I am just a sad story so I am sorry. But just so everyone knows what the rules are here they are:
The Rules: Each player lists 6 facts/habits/secrets about themselves. At the end of the post the player tags six people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Have fun!

So Here I go!!

1. I have "monkey toes" and Scott teases me about them. I have longer toes and he calls them my monkey toes, but I think he is just jealous because I can pick things up with my toes which has come in handy more then once. AND when I was a gymnast they were really handy because I could hold on to the beam way better with them!! HAHA so nener nener to those who don't have long toes.....

Mine are the ones on the right, long and skinny

2. I am definitly an Obsessive Compulsive Perfectionist. Everything has to be PERFECT!! Whether it be cleaning, planning, my homework, work (everything is color coordinated), life, it doesn't matter. But if things aren't perfect (and by perfect, I mean my way perfect) I kind of freak out

3. I love to do laundry. Its my favorite chore, but I hate to take out the garbage.

4. My nickname is Schnukums

5. I get pretty cranky when I am hungry, and if I am tired and hungry watch out for the bear!! She bites :)

6. I absolutely love holidays ... I live for them. I love getting together with family, the food is always good, and I love the decorations. I look forward to all the holidays all year long.

So there you go, that was fun!! :) Haha

Its about TIME

I'm really missin my lil' sis!!! I just wuvs her!!
Me n' my Scotty

My favorite Love Cows

Odie's gonna get you!! Check out that cute paw!!

Broadie trick-or-treating with Janessa

OK so I know I have been slacking, but I have been so busy!! So here is a fun update!! Broadie dressed up as a skeleton for Halloween, and yes he painted his own face and did such a great job!!! He looked amazing. We went to Old Town Pocatello and went trick or treating at the business there. It was fun, but we didn't get a lot of candy. Halloween just isn't the same as when I was a kid.... kids now sure miss out on all the fun (I sound like my dad, haha) ~ after Old Town, we BBQ'd at my house, it was fun, but it was sad because I was really excited to have kids come door to door trick or treating, I thought they would so I was really bumbed ~ come to find out, the trunk or treats is the way to go!!
Nothing else has really been happening, we have all been trying to get over the nasty colds that have been going around, but I think we are finally on the up swing.
Odie is cute as ever and chewing on everything. He has to take a bath every other day (the vet said so because he went bald, so now we have to use this special shampoo) and he LOVES it!! He really likes the shower to be turned on, he will run around in it and bite at it, it is really funny to see.
Other then that, nut much happenin!! I am getting ready for finals again, but this semester shouldn't be so bad, I only have one hard class, so the rest should b a breeze (I am excited about that!!) Christmas is coming soon and so is a fun filled break!! Horray!!!

Reflections Project

Broadie has been working on his schools Reflections Art Project over the past few weeks and I thought he did such an amazing job that I wanted to show all of you!! His picture shows a bunch of sea creatures that are normally enemies, being friends. It was his idea and I think he did really good. My favorite part is the cute little scuba diver he put in there, and the dolphin and killer whale talking instead of eating each other :) ha ha
Broadie is such an amazing little artist. He is so creative in all of his drawings and artwork. He has such an incredible imagination. He spends hours a day just drawing or making books or writing letters. He made an awesome book the other day, it was called Patti Sea Horse, and he had the cutest pictures of sea animals, the book was also about friends, it was just so creative. He has a "secret friend" that sends letters to him and he just had to send the book to that person because that person is such a "great friend" that he wanted them to have the book. I thought it was really sweet of him to share that with his friend.
It just makes me wonder what he is going to be when he grows up (not that he is ever allowed to grow up, I told him he would be in BIG trouble if he grows up, he has to stay my little boy forever) but with an imagination like he has and such an amazing talent at drawing and writing, he is bound to do great things!! I just think the world of my little boy, I really couldn't have been blessed with a better son. I am the luckiest mom out there I think! He is just so sweet, kind and loving to me and everyone else he meets. My world would definitely not be complete without him in it. I would be lost without my little Broadie-Bear.

The Price of a Child

The government recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to 18 and came up with $160,140 for a middle income family. Talkabout sticker shock! That doesn't even touch college tuition. But $160,140 isn't so bad if you break it down.

It translates into:
* $8,896.66 a year,
* $741.38 a month, or
* $171.08 a week.*
That's a mere $24.24 a day!
* Just over a dollar an hour.
Still, you might think the best financial advice is don't have children if you want to be "rich."

Actually, it is just the opposite. What do you get for your $160,140?
* Naming rights. First, middle, and last!
* Glimpses of God every day.
* Giggles under the covers every night.
* More love than your heart can hold.
* Butterfly kisses and Velcro hugs.
* Endless wonder over rocks, ants, clouds, and warm cookies.
* A hand to hold, usually covered with jelly or chocolate.
* A partner for blowing bubbles, flying kites
* Someone to laugh yourself silly with, no matter what the boss said or how your stocks performed that day.

For $160,140, you never have to grow up. You get to:
* finger-paint,
* carve pumpkins,
* play hide-and-seek,
* catch lightning bugs, and
* never stop believing in Santa Claus.

You have an excuse to:
* keep reading the Adventures of Piglet and Pooh,
* watching Saturday morning cartoons,
* going to Disney movies, and
* wishing on stars.
* You get to frame rainbows, hearts, and flowers under refrigerator magnets and collect spray painted noodle wreaths for Christmas, hand prints set in clay for Mother's Day, and cards with backward letters for Father's Day.

For $160,140, there is no greater bang for your buck.
You get to be a hero just for:
* retrieving a Frisbee off the garage roof,
* taking the training wheels off a bike,
* re moving a splinter,
* filling a wading pool,
* coaxing a wad of gum out of bangs,
* and coaching a baseball team that never wins but always gets treated to ice cream regardless.

You get a front row seat to history to witness the:
* first step,
* first word,
* first bra,
* first date, and
* first time behind the wheel.

You get to be immortal. You get another branch added to your family tree, and if you're lucky, a long list of limbs in your obituary called grandchildren and great grandchildren. You get an education in psychology, nursing, criminal justice, communications, and human sexuality that no college can match. In the eyes of a child, you rank right up there under God. You have all the power to heal a boo-boo, scare away the monsters under the bed, patch a broken heart, police a slumber party, ground them forever, and love them without limits, So one day they will, like you, love without counting the cost.

That is quite a deal for the price!!!!!!!Love & enjoy your children!!!!!!!

Here is Broadies 1st grade picture (7 Years old) can you believe how big he is getting ~ and he is the top of his class. He is doing really good in shcool. Very good reader, great in math, and very good in art. His favorite subject in school is of course recess (he says that is like a class:) )

We carved pumpkins today, here are some pictures of them, it was a lot of fun!! Broadie named him pumpkin scary face and mine is the vampire. Scott still needs to carve his, he is a big slacker in the pumpkin carving department but hopefully he will get time to do it soon.

New Member of Our Family

Isn't he cute. OK well we got a new puppy about a week ago. He is a Yorkie and we named him Odie. His birthday is August 11, 2007. He is really cute, although I am not enjoying the fact that he has discovered he loves to chew on my feet .... little stinker... but he is a lot of fun and a pretty good puppy... very spoiled and a mama's boy. He has a real sweet personality and loves to go outside to play. He should definitely be keeping me busy for the next little while. I am trying to potty train and kennel train him, what a task!! He tends to be a very quiet dog, he doesn't bark but he does growl when he plays :) He loves his blanket and he is really good about sleeping in his puppy bed. I decided that getting a puppy was like having a baby - only without the labor - hooray :)

Here We Go

Well I thought this would be a good way to keep everyone updated on what we are doing in our fun filled busy lives. Its hard for us all to keep in touch when we are as spread out as we are. I stole the idea from my sister-in-law (thanks Sara) so this should be a lot of fun (although I don't think I will be as good as this as she is, I will certainly try) Here are some cute pictures of us in Cali this summer when we went to the beach and Sea World. Katie got pooped on by a seagull which was definitly one of the highlights of the trip and we all got a little sun at the beach ... it was a blast and nice to get to see family there.
